Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using MDVault. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. The Service

MDVault provides a digital marketplace where medical students and professionals can purchase and view study notes in PDF format. Content is delivered as pre-rendered page images through our secure viewer.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Indian mobile number to create an account. By using MDVault, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account

Your account is identified by your mobile number. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your OTP and session. Do not share your account with others. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show signs of abuse.

4. Purchases and Licences

When you purchase a note, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to view that content through the MDVault platform. This licence does not permit you to:

• Download, copy, reproduce, or redistribute the content in any form
• Share your account or purchased access with others
• Capture screenshots, screen recordings, or photographs of the content
• Use the content for commercial purposes
• Remove or obscure any watermarks embedded in the content

All content remains the intellectual property of MDVault or its respective content owners.

5. Watermarking & Piracy

Purchased pages are watermarked with your registered phone number. Any unauthorised distribution of watermarked content may be traced back to your account and may result in account suspension and legal action under applicable Indian law including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Copyright Act, 1957.

6. Payments

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. MDVault does not store your payment credentials.

7. Content Accuracy

Study notes on MDVault are provided for educational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of any content. Medical information changes frequently; always verify with authoritative sources and qualified professionals.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your licence to access purchased content ends. Refund eligibility in such cases is at our discretion.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MDVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
